Invite another support representative to a session
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Invite then select an option.
Control a remote computer
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Remote Computer then select an option.
Control multiple applications during a session
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Select Application, select the application, and select OK.
Send Chat messages to other support representatives
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Chat. Type a message, select a user, then select Send.
Transfer session control to another support representative
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Transfer Control. Select the name of the user then select OK.
Regain session control
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Transfer Control. Select your own name then select OK.
Annotate a remote computer
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Annotation.
Record a Remote Access session
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Start Recording.
This option is not available if your site administrator has autorecording turned on
Select a screen display mode
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > View then select an option.
If you want to access your local computer while in a Remote Access session, select either Window-Scale to Fit or Window.
Select a color mode
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > Color Mode then select an option.
End a Remote Access session
Select the arrow on the Session Control Panel > End Remote Access Session
To ensure the security of the remote computer, do one of the following before you end a Remote Access session:
- Close the applications you started during the Remote Access session.
- Log off from or lock the computer. When you access it again, send the CTRL+ALT+DEL key combination to the remote computer.
- Specify a screen saver password, and set the screen saver to appear after a period of inactivity.
